I want to thank Emma Speer & Emmalee Wellness Clinic & Dr. Okenye for giving me my life back! I just went to the Emmalee Clinic on 10-25-2024 & weighed 183 after I had tried to lose weight on EVERY weight loss plan there was on earth, and in fact I had lost 64 already on my own (from 248 to 183), however I was STUCK on a plateau at 183. Fortunately I have a great PCP, Dr. Okenye, who because of other serious underlying health issues referred me to The Emmalee Clinic to "lose more weight" and try a shot called "Semaglutide". Ever since that day my entire world has changed. I was very self conscious of my weight, looks, I felt like people judged me cuz of my weight, didn't like how I looked in my clothes, etc.! I had actually gotten up to a size 16! I felt like a fat blob! So I was willing to try anything!After the second shot I was shocked to see the pounds start falling off! My appetite started declining, my clothes started getting loose, and after a few weeks people started noticing a huge difference in how I looked. Anyway, here we are 1 year & 2 mo's later & I now weigh 126.4 and I wear a size 4/5 pants! and have a size 28" waist! I've gone from XL to Small! My confidence is back, I'm so proud of how I look now, I can wear Small clothes now/again & my husband is so proud of me & has been my biggest supporter through all of this. I feel like a new person! I haven't been this thin since I left high school. I can breathe better, my balance is better too, & I can walk straight again w/o watching every step I take. Dr. Okenye is my primary care provider. We discussed the health benefits of living a healthy lifestyle and maintaining a healthy body weight. I went to Emmalee Clinic weighing about 290lbs after trying unsuccessfully to lose weight on different diets for several years.  After a fairly in depth consultation I started with a program of Semaglutide, along with a diet and exercise plan.  I was losing about 4 lbs. each  week and when I had lost about 50 lbs I stopped the Semaglutide but stayed on the diet and exercise program and I gradually lost another 15 lbs and for the last six months my weight has stayed near 225 lbs.  This whole process was very easy to follow and I highly recommend EmmaLee Clinic for anyone looking to change to having a healthy lifestyle.  The staff is friendly and professional and they really want you to be successful in this program.
